The Ripley's Kids Glen
For all kids ages 6-12 accompanied by an adult
The Ripley's Kids Glen is a place for kids to play, run around, get their faces painted, do some fun activities, experience the same events the Athletes do, and maybe even win some prizes!
Kids should be sure to pick up their Myrtle Beach Highland Games Passport at the Ripley's Kids Glen Tent when they arrive. Then, as they explore the Games, they can ask to get their passport stamped at lots of difference places they visit along the way - like the Clan Village, Celtic Marketplace, and of course each of the events in the Ripley's Kids Glen. Not only will they meet plenty of interesting people and kids along the way, but they'll learn about the cool Scottish and Irish heritages. Bring their completed passport back to the Ripley's Kids Glen Tent when you're done for a special prize!
And of course, you're never too young to start aspiring to the Scottish Heavy Athletics competitions, so there's always some kid-size versions of the athletic events to heave around - including the caber (that giant pole that the big guys turn!).

For Kids under Age 6
There's always drawing and coloring materials for the younger kids to capture the moment and display their creative talents. And if they're into wearable art, they can get their face painted with their choice of all kinds of Scottish designs.
