Ceilidh

A Ceilidh (pronounced "Kay-lee", emphasis on the first syllable) is many things. It derives from the Gaelic word meaning a visit and originally meant just that (and still does in Gaelic). It can also mean a house party, a concert or more usually an evening of informal Scottish tradition dancing to informal music. Ceilidhs in the highlands tend to be concerts. Ceilidhs are extremely popular indeed with young people and often attract from a few dozen people to several hundred.

The Myrtle Beach Highland Games & Heritage Festival is pleased to present this concert to our annual event that is held the Friday night prior to the Festival. This event is free to all Competing Athletes, Celtic Marketplace Vendors, Food Vendors, Clans, Societies and Festival Volunteers. Below is the Ceilidhs Schedule of Events:

FOOD & BEVERAGES

Food and Beverages can be purchased at the Food Vendor's Booth
as well as the Beer Garden and Drink Stations.

For Alcohol, you must have Valid Driver's License as proof of age

No Coolers or Pets Allowed
