New to the Games?

The Myrtle Beach Highland Games & Heritage Festival is held to make sure you and your family have the time of your life. Not only can you come to visit the Heavy Athletics with all the "tough man and woman" events, you can even try them yourselves!

The entire family can take part. We have one of the Athletes on hand to demonstrate how to properly do the event and teach you a little history about each one. Then, it's your turn! Try the famous Caber Toss, the Sheaf Toss or even the Weight for Height at our Patron Games.  Children ages 6-12 can participate in 8 different events over at the Kids Glen. Be sure they pick up their Scotland Passports for some really cool prizes and coupons.

Children under the age of 6 can enjoy our bounce house, face painting and coloring contest. There is even a pretty cool "Scavenger Hunt" that helps each of the wee lads and lasses learn more about the Games.
