Bringing Scotland a wee bit closer! Besides the many traditional events scheduled during the Highland Games, there are many other ongoing activities available throughout the day.

50/50 Raffle

We offer a fabulous 50/50 Raffle. Stop by our raffle tent located just behind the main entrance for a complete list of prizes. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each, 6/$5.00 or 14/$10.00. Drawings held throughout the Festival.

Win a Trip to Scotland

The Myrtle Beach Regional Pipe Band is raffling off a Trip for 2 to Beautiful Scotland. Tickets are one for $20.00 or 3/$50.00. We are only selling 1,000 tickets. Winner receives a 7 day/6 night stay in beautiful Edinburgh, Scotland, round trip airfare, hotel accommodations and $1,000 spending cash! Drawing will be held during the closing ceremonies.

Scottish Highland Dancing

It would be hard to find a more graceful dance that the Scottish Highland Dancing. Lasses in the highland dress perform intricate steps and winding figures reminiscent of the interlaced know-work of Celtic jewelry and art. The dancers will be performing throughout the day at the Entertainment Stage.

Kids Glen

Nothing is more important than the area we offer for our children. This area, referred to as the Kids Glen, has special events just for kids. Kids can participate in similar games to the Heavy Athletics from ages 6-12 throughout the day. Children 5 and under can play in the bounce house, get their face painted and even participate in a "Scavenger Hunt" to learn more about the art of piping and drumming. Border Collies

Come see an amazing demonstration of how Border Collies round up sheep and even geese. These performances is one you surely will not want to miss. The demonstration takes place throughout the day in the Heavy Athletics Arena.

Whiskey Tastings

A variety of Scottish, Irish and American Whiskey's along with a nice selection of Highland Beer can be sampled during one of our popular Whiskey Tasting Events. Held in the Hay Barn at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. These are a separate ticket purchase and is open to anyone 21 years of age and older. NOTE: These tickets must be purchased in advance.
